DC usually has problems with their animation flicks but Superman/Batman Apocalypse was the first to break that mold. Sure, the title is very misleading, but the story definitely makes up for it. The highlight in the film besides Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy was Summer Glau as Supergirl, Superman's big cousin. The ending is truly epic and while the animation is mediocre, it had it's moments.

You could get whiplash watching this. The story starts and stops aburptly about four times. It's like they didn't know where they wanted to go with it, so the writers compromised and went in every direction. The story has no weight and there appear to nearly be no stakes at all. It's hard to even put into words where the movie went wrong. It's pretty much right out the gate. None of the characters seemed relateable or even likeable. Supergirl's backstory is haphardly told, and it appears to have no meaning. I stand-alone Supergirl movie would have probably been a better choice. That would have given writers a chance to add depth to Supergirl's experiences and journey, rather than trying to shoehorn in other established characters awkwardly. A rare miss for DC Animation, of which I am a huge fan.

I was excited about this movie, but at the end I was seriously disappointed. The story line is quite simple, not too much action, and poor choice for the voice of Darkseid. Let me elaborate in the last point, it has happened before that producers (Bruce Timm) try a new voice for one of the main characters, I am not afraid of a change, but you don't make a change when the voice is perfect. For instance, who can say than there is someone else that can be Batman's voice but Kevin Conroy?, well It did happen the same for Superman/Batman Apokolips... Darkseid's voice is Michael Ironside, period. Superman and super girl are corny enough to add a soft flavor to the antagonist. Being Darkseid as bad as he is, I was disappointed at the fight scenes. It cannot be possible that Wonder Woman had a better fighting scene that the main characters. If I were you, I would rent the DVD. My grade for this movie is 6 out of 10, and just because I am a fan, otherwise it would be much lower than that.

Honestly, an average movie, a good story, but the narration was a bit fast, the characters were mostly average, except for Batman of course, the voice acting of Darkseid was not good, the drawing and the soundtrack are good. A good movie that's all there is to it.

Distinctly distaff oriented despite the title. Batman merely a sideshow as Superman contends with arrival of a literally distant cousin from doomed home planet Kryptonite. Bulk of the plot deals with Kara @ Supergirl adjusting and adapting to life in new environment. Trouble is not far away with arch enemy Darkseid also taking a major interest in the blonde superhero. Probably the weakest of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies series, the ninth entry lacks vigor and burdened with stilted dialogues.

In this sequel to Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Supergirl arrives on earth and must figure out who she's going to be. The action is pretty underwhelming, though the ending is a nice and exciting surprise. Though a really cool element in Public Enemies, the friendship between Superman and Batman is not so apparent this time around. Rather the key relationship is between the two Kryptonion cousins. The heroes come off humorless and uptight, stripping some fun away from the film. I was also not a big fan of this portrayal of Darkseid.

From the plot to amazing fighting scenes everything was good except Lord Darkseid getting beaten like a rag doll . They should show some respect to The omega. Loved another dc animation.

This was a really cool action adventure with all the great voices at play. Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly and Susan Eisenberg as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman respectively. They're set to lead Superman's cousin, Kara, on the right path to becoming a good citizen on Earth, but end up losing track of the fact that she is an individual after all. That leaves a troubled Kara who desperately wants her independence which leads her astray and ultimately hurts her cousin and the other heroes more than she could've imagined. The animation is amazing, especially on Apokolips where everything is red and black with a little yellow to highlight the flames spewing out of the enormous craters. And we get some well done twists and turns which keeps it from being a predictable story, so all in all this is probably the best movie with more than one of the DC heroes in it.
